| Biography: Richard J. Glassock, MD, MACP |
Doctor Glassock is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Glomerular Diseases and Clinical Nephrology. He has published over 450 original papers, books, book chapters editorials and reviews. He has lectured in over 90 countries throughout the world, has been a visiting professor at over 125 academic institutions and has trained over 50 nephrologists. He has received many awards including the David Hume Memorial Award of the National Kidney Foundation and the Robert Narins Award of the American Society of Nephrology. He is the past- President of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation (USA). He was awarded Mastership in the American College of Physicians in 1999. He is the Founding Editor Emeritus of NephSAP, a Journal of the American Society of Nephrology. He is currently Professor Emeritus at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and resides in Laguna Niguel, CA. |
