Director of Continuing Medical Education (CME) Initiatives
Red Bank, NJ

Cardiometabolic Health Congress is seeking exceptional CME professional to work with our team on identifying educational needs and performance gaps, funding opportunities, and developing grants in therapeutic areas related to cardiometabolic health.

The Director of CME Initiatives will be responsible for identifying educational grant opportunities, performing well thought out needs assessments including primary and secondary research, and ultimately delivering high quality CME grant proposals/initiatives focusing on diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and related co-morbidities. 

Requirements:

Candidates must have five (5) current years hands on experience in all facets of both CME educational grant development and medical writing; as well as be well versed in adult learning principals, ACCME, OIG, and PhRMA guidance. 

Note: We do not provide relocation assistance, and we are seeking candidates who will work in our Red Bank, New Jersey office.

Director of Sales & Marketing
Red Bank, NJ

HealthScience Media, Inc is seeking exceptional medical education business development and marketing professional to work with our team to promote the Cardiometabolic Health Congress (CMHC) and sell promotional sponsorship opportunities to pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic, and nutrition companies with products that relate to cardiometabolic health.
                        
We have an immediate opening for a “Director of Sales & Marketing” – who will be responsible for non-CME medical education business development and marketing of the CMHC live programs and enduring activities to both clinicians and pharmaceutical companies.  

The Director of Marketing must be entrepreneurial, have strong verbal and written communications skills; be detail and solution oriented with the ability to multi-task; and a proven ability to build, nurture and maintain relationships with clients.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Sales of CMHC promotional sponsorship/educational opportunities with the confidence and business acumen to sell to high-level marketing professionals
  • Marketing of the CMHC to both physicians and pharmaceutical, device, diagnostic and nutrition companies
  • Overseeing the execution of all sponsorship opportunities sold to ensure client satisfaction
  • Attending association/society conferences nationwide to identify and pursue leads, develop relationships, and keep up-to-date on industry trends

Requirements:

Successful candidates will have a minimum of a BS/BA and at least 4 years of specific industry related experience, working with or within the pharmaceutical industry, medical education/communications, and/or pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing. Must have working knowledge of ACCME, PhRMA, FDA, and OIG guidelines.  Therapeutic experience in cardiovascular and/or metabolic (i.e. dyslipidemia, thrombosis, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, obesity) is highly desirable.
