Many uncommon lipid disorders have a clinical presentation similar to those that are considered more common, but without knowledge and understanding of these rare conditions the opportunity for testing and diagnosis is gone. Highlighting that these uncommon lipid disorders can be diagnosed relatively easily today and have therapies that are available to change the disease course, Dr. Underberg will arm the clinician with tools they can utilize to ensure that during their busy practice days they do not miss signals they may otherwise disregard.
