The Third Annual CMHC West: Advancing Cardiometabolic Health from East to West heads to Phoenix from May 3-5, 2019, bringing together the nation’s top clinical experts in cardiometabolic health. World-renowned lecturers, clinicians, and thought leaders in the field will highlight the latest updates in obesity and lifestyle medicine, dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis, thrombosis, heart failure, and diabetes management.

Sessions will additionally spotlight the most recent results from clinical trials, delivered through thought-provoking and innovative educational formats. The event will further feature a keynote speech from highly distinguished Spero Manson, PhD on diabetes in the Native American population--designed to connect attendees with the geographical area's culture and proximate healthcare communities.

Workshop


CMHC and the American Heart Association have collaborated on a new workshop, designed to increase awareness and engagement in the dynamic therapeutic area of cardio-oncology. The CMHC-AHA Cardio-Oncology Workshop: Exploring the Frontiers of Care will focus on the latest guidelines, prevention efforts, and treatment strategies regarding the adverse cardiovascular events of cancer treatments, from experts in a recent and rapidly evolving field.
