Cardiometabolic Health Congress Announces Partnership with American Heart Association
March 14, 2018 (Boca Raton, FL) – In an effort to provide clinical education in one of the most dynamic and current therapeutic areas, CMHC and the American Heart Association have collaborated on a newly released workshop: CMHC-AHA Cardio-Oncology Workshop: Exploring the Frontiers of Care.
The workshop is designed to increase awareness and engagement in the recent and rapidly evolving field of cardio-oncology. As a proliferation of scientific information and evidence continues to emerge surrounding the multitude of ways in which cardiovascular health is tied to cancer therapies, CMHC is proud to present a carefully curated agenda that features world-renowned experts, and continue its longstanding tradition of providing the latest, most current data and clinical education in cardiometabolic health.
The collaboration between CMHC and the AHA represents a forum in which primary care practitioners and professionals can simultaneously learn from expert faculty, as well as each other. As clinicians in cardio-oncology begin to further navigate the challenges to optimizing care, this workshop serves as an educational opportunity in which experts in the field present the latest guidelines, prevention efforts, and treatment strategies regarding the adverse cardiovascular events of cancer treatments—through thought-provoking, interactive, and innovative education.
