Andra Stratton is a patient with familial partial lipodystrophy and an advocate for the global lipodystrophy community. She is a founding member and current President of Lipodystrophy United. Over the last two years, she has led the efforts to increase awareness and support among patients around the world. As a young foundation, Lipodystrophy United has made great efforts to unite patients with all types of lipodystrophy in many different countries. Additionally, Ms. Stratton is a governing board member for Lipodystrophy Connect, the patient registry under development. She has worked closely with lipodystrophy stakeholders and has been the patient voice in meetings and conferences in the United States and Europe. Her professional background in Industrial Organizational Psychology, in addition to her personal experiences as a patient, has allowed her to represent the patient community with great success.
