Dr. Anna McDivit Mizzell is a double board-certified cardiologist specializing in atherosclerotic heart disease, congestive heart failure, and women’s cardiovascular health. She provides cardiac care for patients receiving solid organ transplants and works closely with the transplant teams at the University of California San Diego Health.
She is an associate professor at the University of California San Diego of Medicine, a clinical service chief, and associate program director for the cardiology fellowship program at the University of California San Diego Health Hillcrest.
Dr. McDivit Mizzell’s special interest includes caring for women with cardiovascular disease and the promotion and mentoring of women in medicine and cardiology.
