Kelly Lewis, PharmD is the executive medical director and the head of atherosclerosis in the Clinical Development and Medical Affairs division at Novartis.

Lewis has more than 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in the US and globally. Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, Lewis was a faculty member in the Surgical Critical Care division in the Department of Anesthesiology/Critical Care at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago for 10 years.

She is passionate about highlighting health disparities across the spectrum of CVD conditions, particularly those attributable to social determinants of health, race, ethnicity, and gender. Lewis is also committed to increasing the number of women and minorities in clinical trials executive leadership positions.
