Dr. Krishnaswami Vijayaraghavan, M.D. (Kris Vijay, M.D.) graduated with B.S. from the University of Bombay, Bombay, India. Dr. Vijay obtained his Medical Doctorate at the University of Mysore, Kasturba Medical College in Mysore, India. He obtained a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Vijay is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Clinical Lipidology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. He serves as the Medical Director for the Cardiovascular Division of the Scottsdale Clinical Research Institute at Scottsdale Healthcare and is the immediate past President of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Vijay serves as the current President of the Cardiorenal Society of America and President Elect for the National Lipid Association, Arizona Chapter.
Special Interests: Heart failure treatment, Non-invasive cardiology, Nuclear cardiology, Diabetes, Complex Lipid Disorders.
Dr. Vijay is bilingual in Hindi and English
