Dr. Ulrika Birgersdotter-Green, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. She is a professor of medicine at the University of California San Diego. Dr. Birgersdotter-Green also directs the Pacemaker and ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) Service at the University of California San Diego Health and leads one of the most extensive extraction programs in the Western United States.

Her research interests include the mechanisms of arrhythmias, cardiac resynchronization therapy, developing new methods and indications for cardiac device implantation, and lead extractions.
