Dr. Kathryn Macaulay is Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UC San Diego Health.

She is director of the UCSD Menopause Health program and a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner.

Dr. Macaulay completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Macaulay is active in teaching medical students and residents. Her clinical and research interests include sexual function in breast cancer survivors, the effects of menopause and hormone therapy on sexual function, and health needs assessment for women in midlife and menopause.
