Terry A. Jacobson, MD, is currently the Director of the Office of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at Grady Health Systems in Atlanta, GA. His specific expertise is in hyperlipidemia, nutrition and drug management of hypercholesterolemia, coronary heart disease (CHD) risk reduction, and translating cardiovascular prevention into practice. He also serves as Co Director of the Lipid and Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Program at Grady Health Systems. He is currently Professor of Medicine at Emory University and has published articles in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Lancet, the American Journal of Cardiology, Archives of Internal Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, the American Journal of Medicine, Current Opinion in Lipidology, and others.
