Wilson S. Colucci, MD, FACC, FAHA, is the Thomas J. Ryan Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine, where he is also Director of the Myocardial Biology Unit. He is Chief of the Cardiovascular Medicine Section and Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Center at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Colucci earned his MD from the Boston University School of Medicine, and completed his medical residency and fellowship in cardiology at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. Dr. Colucci is a clinician and translational researcher who focuses on the pathophysiology and treatment of heart failure. He is the author of numerous chapters and books on heart failure, and is an editor of the heart failure section of UpToDate. He has been widely published with over 300 peer-reviewed publications dealing with all aspects of heart failure.
