Dr. Petrosyan is board-certified in Internal Medicine, board-eligible in Nephrology, and in process for certification in Point-of-Care Ultrasonography. For her outstanding body of work, Dr. Petrosyan has been a recipient of competitive scholarships, such as the National ACP Certificate of Offices, Alumni Fellows Graduate Student Scholarship, the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Scholarship, the Maddie Katz Memorial Award, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
As Chair of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Council of Resident and Fellow Members, Regent, and Delegate to the American Medical Association, she leads advocacy efforts on behalf of trainees nationally, develops focused scientific sessions, and oversees membership outreach efforts unifying trainees across Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. Innovation in education and healthcare delivery are the key drivers in her current work of developing a point-of-care ultrasonography curriculum and evolving physical examination at Harvard Medical School and nationally.
