Amin Yehya, MD, MS, FACC, FHFSA is the Lead Physician for the Mechanical Circulatory Support at Sentara Healthcare Advanced Heart Failure Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Yehya received his MD from the American University of Beirut. He completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine, his Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia and his Advance Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Yehya is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Advance Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Failure Society of America. Dr. Yehya published peer review articles and book chapters, he is as well the editor of a book on heart failure: “Heart Failure: What a Non Heart Failure Specialist Needs to Know”.
