About

Dr. Panjrath is a cardiologist with particular interests in advanced heart failure and cardiomyopathies. He is experienced in treating patients with therapies such as left ventricular assist device and heart transplantation. He is director of Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program and assistant professor of medicine at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Professional Highlights

Dr. Panjrath is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and American Heart Association (AHA) and is the chair of Heart Failure and Transplant Section at ACC. His research has been published many respected, peer-reviewed journals and he has received research awards and grants from societies including ACC, ASNC and various foundations. He serves on editorial boards and reviews multiple cardiology journals and scientific session abstracts for ACC and AHA.
