About

Dr. Martin S. Hagger is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of California (UC), Merced. He is also an adjunct professor and research consultant at Griffith University, and a visiting professor at the University of Jyväskylä, in Finland. Dr. Hagger has also been a visiting professor at the Universities of Rome, Bordeaux, and Genoble, and Hong Kong Baptist University. At UC Merced, he chairs graduate programs in Psychological Sciences and directs the Social and Health Psychology Applied Behavioral Research for Prevention and Promotion (SHARPP) Lab. His research focuses on the determinants of health behavior and the mechanisms and processes of behavior change.
