Rachel Pessah-Pollack, M.D., F.A.C.E. is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at NYU Langone Health. She trained at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, where she completed her Internal

Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship and is Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. She is a member of the national Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and has been actively involved in Clinical Practice Guideline development including as Chair of the Clinical Practice Guidelines Oversight Committee and a co-author of the recently published 2020 AACE Postmenopausal Osteoporosis

Clinical Practice Guidelines. She served as Chair of the American College of Cardiology's (ACC) Diabetes Collaborative Registry and Stakeholder Advisory Committee from 2018-2019. She has numerous peer reviewed publications and lectures nationally on metabolic bone disease.
