Dr. Jefferies is the Jay M. Michael Sullivan Endowed Chair in cardiovascular medicine and chief of cardiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Jeffries has edited two cardiology textbooks and has authored or co-authored over 240 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters on cardiomyopathy, cardiovascular genetics, and advanced heart failure. His research interests include cardiovascular genetics, novel heart failure therapies, and cardiovascular findings in heritable disorders.
