Dr Apoor Gami is a board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist with Advocate Medical Group near Chicago, Illinois, USA. He specializes in treatment of all rhythm disorders, catheter ablation of arrhythmias, and implantation of cardiac devices. He graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago; and completed his residency, cardiology fellowship, and cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also completed his Master's of Science in Clinical and Translational Research at the Mayo Graduate School. His research includes clinical studies of sleep apnea and cardiovascular disease, especially atrial fibrillation and sudden cardiac death.
