Dr. Pamela R. Rama is a noninvasive preventive cardiologist with a passion for treating female patients and their specific needs. As the medical director of the HeartWise prevention program and director of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at Baptist Medical Center Beaches, her areas of expertise are in the treatment of hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, hypercholesterolemia, noninvasive cardiac testing and heart disease prevention. Dr. Rama believes that education and awareness are keys to prevention; she speaks nationally about controlling risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity, as well as focusing on early intervention for women with cardiovascular disease.
