Dr. Theodore Abraham is a cardiologist with clinical interests in transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, and strain echocardiography, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). He directs the Echocardiography Laboratory and co-directs the HCM Center of Excellence at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
Dr. Abraham’s research interests in using advanced imaging for risk prediction, early diagnosis, disease progression monitoring and prognostication in a variety of cardiac diseases has particular applications in managing cardiomyopathies in athletes.
